With the popularity of LED lamps, LED panel lights have become one of the indispensable lamps for indoor lighting. Now FANCO will take everyone to understand the basic knowledge of panel lights and learn the skills of selecting panel lights.
LED panel light has the characteristics of good illumination uniformity, high color rendering index, soft and comfortable light. It is one of the commonly used lamps for office lighting, school lighting, hospital lighting, shopping mall lighting and home lighting.
First of all, LED panels have different classifications according to lighting functions and requirements. When selecting panel lights, you must make a choice according to the lighting requirements of the lighting place.
How to choose a suitable LED panel light?
Choose according to shape:
LED panel lights can be divided into square, rectangular, round, outer inner circle, etc. Different sizes of panel lights should be selected for different environments, such as rectangular rooms, rectangular panel lights should be used, and round panel light can be selected for cozy room.
Choose according to size:
300mmx300mm, 300mmx600mm, 300mmx1200mm, 600mmx600mm, etc. If you have a smaller space, you can choose a smaller panel light, and if you have a larger space, you can choose a larger one.
Choose according to color temperature:
Warm white light 3200K, natural light 4000K, white light 6000K. Warm white and natural light will give people a warm and cozy feeling, suitable for use in hotels, hotels and bedrooms. For places with high lighting functions, you can choose positive white light, such as office places.
Choose according to the installation method:
There are mainly flat type (T-shaped keel), embedded type (opening), buckle type (triangular keel), suspension type and ceiling type.
Choose according to the Light emitting method:
There are mainly two types of side-emitting LED panel lights and back-emitting LED panel lights (direct type).
Choose according to dimming:
Mainly include ordinary non-dimmable and color-adjusting LED panel lights, dimmable LED panel lights, adjustable-color and dimmable LED panel lights. Dimming and color-adjusting refers to adjusting the brightness and color of LED panel lights. Choose according to lighting needs.
Choose according to smart function:
There are non-smart LED panel lights and smart LED panel lights. Those with high control requirements for panel lights can choose smart LED panel lights.
After choosing the type of LED panel, we also need to observe the specific parameters of the LED panel light.
About chips:
The chip is the core light-emitting element of the LED lamp, and the luminous efficiency and color rendering index of different brands are different. Therefore, when purchasing, pay attention to the quality of the chip. A good chip not only has a long service life, but also has a higher luminous efficiency and color rendering index, and it is used in a wider range of occasions.
About Luminous flux:
Luminous flux generally refers to brightness. Different environments and different areas require different light. When choosing a lamp, it is necessary to combine the lighting environment, refer to the luminous flux index of the product, or pay attention to the brightness of the light, and try to choose a lamp with sufficient brightness but not dazzling.
About Color rendering index:
To look at the color rendering index is to look at the true degree of the color of the object under the light. The value is generally 0-100. Now the color rendering index of LED lights is greater than 75, and it is recommended to choose 80 or more.
About flicker or non flicker:
Observe whether the LED lights are flickering, the flicker lamps will affect the eyesight. Flicker is a problem that is difficult to observe with the naked eye. You can use your mobile phone to aim at the led panel light to take pictures. Adding the gray and white "stripes" in the photo indicates the stroboscopic. If it does not appear, there is non flicker.
About uniformity:
To look at the uniformity is to look at the luminous uniformity of the LED panel light. Generally, the luminous uniformity needs to be >75, and the higher the uniformity, the better.
About light decay:
LED luminous decay means that after a period of time when the LED is lit, its luminous intensity will be lower than the original luminous intensity, and the lower part is the LED's luminous decay. The smaller the light decay, the better the performance of the LED panel light!
